Her Excellency the Honourable Linda Dessau AM, Governor of Victoria, kindly hosted a morning tea to celebrate the work of the Stars Foundation and raise awareness of the need to support the educational opportunities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls.

Stars Deputy Chair, Donisha Duff and Director Sue Beecher were in attendance, along with Stars team members Sam Rioli, Michael McLean, David Francis and Andrea Goddard.

Representatives from partner organisations and other interested groups were also invited. The sun shone, conversation flowed and the girls for whom Stars exists to support were never far from anyone’s mind.

Stars were extremely grateful to the Governor for her generosity and hospitality in hosting the wonderful event.
