Celebrating 10+ Years of Stars Alumnae

In September 2025, Stars Foundation proudly celebrated its 10th Anniversary! The best way to commemorate 10 years of mentoring and empowering First Nations women, involved reflection on how far our Stars Graduates have come and to celebrate their achievements and pride for what they have accomplished.

Since 2015, Stars has mentored and empowered 1300+ Stars Alumna, supporting them to forge successful careers, and to build strong families, and lead healthy, fulfilling lives. All former Stars students are encouraged to stay connected with Stars Alumna across Australia by registering on the Stars app.

While Stars Foundation’s data results clearly reflect a good news story in relation to the empowerment of First Nations young women, the real success story is best conveyed when understanding each young woman’s unique story.

Invitation to Stars Alumnae Community

In 2023, Stars Foundation custom made an app designed specifically for 1000+ Stars Alumnae where
former Stars students can meet online, connect at local events and explore work and pathway opportunities.

All former Stars Alumnae are encouraged to join and register for the App via button below.

The following individual snapshots of Stars Alumnae are indicative of the determination, courage and pride we witness in our Stars every day.

Every Stars program is supported by a Transitions team, who focus on education and employment opportunities and pathways for students. During the senior school years, the Stars Transitions Coordinators work closely with the school, families, tertiary educators, and local employers to help a young student make her aspirations a reality.

This assistance may range from helping students gather critical documents such as a birth certificate or earning a driver’s license or assisting with a university or job application. The Transitions team are committed to working with our Stars for two years after school when the students become Stars Alumna. The Stars Alumnae enjoy regular events and communication with each other.
