This week our Jabiru Super Stars, their families and community members – along with NT Minister for Education Selina Uibo – gathered together to celebrate their hard work and fantastic achievements during 2019.
Star of the Year went to Catherine Ralph, who has achieved above and beyond this year, completing not only her Certificates II and III in Conservation Land Management, but also completing her NTCET a year early!
Our Rising Star was Keira Manning, who, since joining the program, has consistently demonstrated the Stars Values – Respect, Honesty, Commitment, Pride – and is always the first to participate in programs and lend a hand to others.
There was a tie for the Jabiru Attendance Award with K’Sharnae Clancy and Leah Tambling both having a stellar attendance rate of 96 per cent!
Thanks to Jabiru Area School, the Mecure Croc Hotel, Cooinda Lodge and Kakadu Tourism, ERA, Ranger Women’s Network, West Arnhem Regional Council and Jabiru Foodland for their support with this special event.
