Cadence, Water Monitor and Laboratory Technician Trainee, WA
Cadence joined Stars in 2021 and graduated from Girrawheen Senior High School in 2024. Cadence has since relocated to Geraldton with her family and has proudly secured a traineeship with the Department of Water and Environmental Resources as a Water Monitor and Laboratory Technician Trainee.
“Working with Yamatji Water as a trainee water technician is the perfect balance of office work, learning from experienced professionals and being on Country doing field work. Being able to travel around to Perth, Geraldton, Carnarvon and Exmouth is amazing, and the more I’m working the more my skillset and knowledge is growing,” said Cadence.
The advice I would give younger Stars girls is to take every single opportunity given to you no matter what. Don’t feel so pressured about your future and just branch out, make connections and find things that spark your interest.” said Cadence.
